Meet The Next Bond Villain

After months of speculation it is now official, Javier Bardem will play the next villain in the Bond franchise, this time helmed by director Sam Mendes (American Beauty). There is no official word of who the Oscar winning actor will be potraying, however I think he is a perfect choice after being one of the best villains of all time in Ethan and Joel Coen's, No Country For Old Men. The next bond film, currently entitled Bond 23 is set to hit theaters next Autumn. The movie also includes Daniel Craig in the title role, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes.

Marc Webb Presents 'The Amazing Spider-Man'

Today we have the first trailer for Marc Webb's (500 Days Of Summer) adaption of the popular Marvel character, Spider-Man. I get the he is trying to make this one a little more 'grittier' then it's predeccors but I just don't see gritty and Spider-Man in the same sentence. I will see this movie and some of it looks pretty cool from the trailer, but I'm just not a big Spider-Man guy regardless of who is directing the films. The Amazing Spider-Man does present itself a little darker and grittier than the way Raimi depited it, but it also seems to be lacking some joy and fun (or it was just left out of the trailer). The Amazing Spider-Man stars Social Network star as Spider-Man/Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey as well as Dennis Lear, Sally Field, Martin Sheen, and of course Rhys Ifans as the villain, Lizard. Spider-Man spins his way into theaters on July 3, 2012. Enjoy!

'The Dark Knight Rises' Teaser Trailer

My day has official been made, as today is the day when Batman fans can take a breath and check out the first footage from the anxiously awaited, The Dark Knight Rises. This trailer is a pefect teaser, it doesn't give too much away and takes enough footage from previous Batman's not to show you to much of Nolan's next Batman film, and what is sure to be amazing end to a remarkable trilogy. I can't wait for this shit to brace the screens in 2012 as it looks to be as the trailer states and 'epic conclusion' to Nolan's rule on the Batman throne. Thing we can take away from the trailer, well it seems as though Gordon is sick or hurt in this film and maybe now know's Batman's true identiy (as he is speaking to Bruce Wayne about Batman while being in the hospital). Also, Bane looks to mean one mean son of a bitch and even has Batman panting and backing away from him towards the ending of the trailer. No Catwoman just yet, as we know for Nolan he's probablly  already given away too much for his liking. I don't even wanna say anymore, just watch this thing over and over again as I will be doing until The Dark Knight Rises hits screens on July 20, 2012. Enjoy!

First Look At Scorsese's 'Hugo'

Today has been a day of trailers on the site, so I figured why not bring you one more to keep with the theme. We now get the first look into Academy Award Winning Director Martin Scorsese's first stab into the animated movie world and 3D technology, with Hugo. The film centers on a young boy (Butterfield) who lives in the walls of a Paris train station in 1930 and a mystery involving the boy, his late father and a robot unfolds will send him and his friend (Moretz) on a magical and wild adventure. From the looks of the trailer the film looks to be done quite well with some breathtaking cinematography from the brilliant director. With a talented cast that includes Jude Law, Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baren Cohen, Chloe Moretz, Emily Mortimer, Ray Winstone, and lead kid Asa Butterfield, looks for this film to be both a box office success and another great piece of work by the fames Scorsese. Hugo hits theaters on November 23, 2011 and looks like it will be a great adventure for the whole family. Enjoy!

First Trailer For Soderbergh's 'Contagion'

Steven Soderbergh is back behind the camera, and yes he has brought his friend Matt Damon back once again with his next film, Contagion. This movie looks great, and the trailer seems to give off an intense and intriguing feel to it that will have you wanting more. Contagion tells the story of reat posed by a deadly disease and an international team of doctors contracted by the CDC to deal with the outbreak. With a stacked cast that includes Matt Damon, Gwentyh Paltrow, Marion Cotillard, Kate Winslet, Brian Cranston, Jude Law, Lawrence Fishburne, and John Hawkes, this film looks like it is poised for success come September 9, 2011. Enjoy the trailer!
